Event Description: Highland AMVETS Post 44 is announcing an exciting multi-post project dedicated to removing a decaying wooden wheelchair ramp and if possible burn it, we will build a set of stairs in place of the ramp, and an existing rear deck will have the existing deck boards removed and replaced with new wood and set of steps added from the deck to the ground. Pat is an elderly, legally blind woman who requires the use of this ramp, so this project will be a tremendous help in ensuring accessibility of her property. This is an urgent call to action for our veteran community, as we come together to help a sister in need!
